The more powerful - YOU!

I am a boring software engineer who seem to be bothered only about a 24x7 client support! I never felt i have any special skills or i am more powerful when compared to others. But it is always inspiring when I hear about successful people in business like Ambani or the CEO's of the tech giants like Steve Jobs, Sundar Pichai, Bill Gates.

Here and there i see people with special skills. Either be it solving rubik's cube in few seconds with eyes closed or a kid walking over a thin rope in the streets of India! Have even read about a guy who cured cancer just by doing what he really enjoyed the most.. running!

When i heard more of such inspiring stories, i felt there should be definitely something that is special about me. I felt, i should self-explore.

Who am I?

This is a very big question that all great people are striving to know. I thought I should as well explore a bit about me. I started observing different people around me and tried to introspect if I possess any of their skills. When I tried to know more of me, I stumbled upon this interesting process called evolution. This inspired me a lot!

Looking at the evolution chart below, don't think i will bore you with all the known details on evolution. I might not cover all of evolution. Might not even cover in the correct order of evolution. This does not matter to our discussion. 1st the known. We came from monkey. Then, monkey came from kangaroo or deer, they in turn came from dinosaur, tortoise, frog, fish, multi-cellular and then uni-cellular organisms!

So, our ancestor is not just monkey, it is finally a uni-cellular organism!

You get this? Give it a try... reverse the evolution chart. I know it is not possible to understand the hierarchy of the millions of species. But whatever way you observe, everything will boil down to a uni-cellular creature!

Fine. I came from a single celled organism. What's the big deal? It's not that you just came from a single celled organism. You are the single celled organism! Right?! You were the single celled organism before and are a human being now! In other words, that single cell only evolved into different species and you are one among them. Able to digest? Let me elaborate.

You were a single celled organism. Then at one point, you thought that you are doing lot of work for a single cell and hence split yourselves and transformed into a multi-cellular organism. Each cell doing different functions. Then you thought you need to move around the water, you evolved into a fish. Then the water dried up for long and you wanted to move out and became a frog. Then found that the greens in land are at a distance and you become a deer, then the trees were tall, you decided to adapt to it and you evolved into a giraffe, a bird... and finally a man!

So what you think as you is not just a 20/30/50 yrs old human. It is the group of cells that are millions and millions of yrs old. Only this cell transformed into different species whenever it wanted to! You wanted to move around water, you developed fins and swam around. You wanted to come out of water, you developed legs and came out. You wanted to fly, you developed wings and flown. Is it not an AMAZING you?!

The more - You!

I could guess what some of you think :). Come-on! I am not ready to believe your observation. Right? One data point to confirm that we were bacteria and viruses before. Each and every cell of us have good traces of viruses and bacteria in our cells. We have 100's of them in each cell of us.

You have more Microbe cells than Human cells!

Questions to introspect!

All the living things around you, started with you! They are you or part of you! You are so powerful and withstood all the changes around! You took different forms and still living for ages. The most powerful and omnipresent! Whom do you think you are?!

With all the theory and analysis, here are the questions for you

1. What will happen if you play rough in mud and don't use soap to wash?

2. What could the little chemicals in the food could do to you?

3. Should we take supplements for Proteins, Vitamins?

4. When all are you, what about the guy and girl next door or the lady in the streets?

5. What about Ambani, Steve Jobs and any successful person. Should you hate them or enjoy their success as they are in-fact you?

6. What about the different casts and religions? Are they finally you or different?

It is not just solving the rubik's cube in few secs or walking over a rope or curing cancer by yourselves. You could literally do anything that you would want to...

Happy retrospecting and happy researching! You as a cell withstood all the natural calamities and changes successfully. When earth itself was bombarded with multiple asteroids, you successfully evolved as a different species and wandered around! Yes, the history you have within you is immense! You are much more powerful than what you were taught.

Lets not allow someone else to control your mind or decide how you should evolve... (through preaching your limitations or through their marketing)! Better you take control of your mind and evolve strong!
